Lovely trip to Puncak

My lovely trip to Puncak , West Java

Day 1

Naik naik ke puncak gunung... senang senang sekali...

after several years, a trip to Puncak, West Java, still worth the traffic ..:) 

I know the traffic to Puncak kinda 'messy' nowadays, especially around market and on the weekend, but only 1,5 half hour from Jakarta and we still could feel the -very- nice view, fresh air, and many things that can make us happy (and our tummy happy..) so ..why not? :)

Somehow, trip ke Puncak bisa benar-benar menyenangkan.. karna di sini mama papa hepi anaknya juga hepi :D perjalanan kali ini tentunya tidak dilakukan pada hari Puncak macet gela,, tapi pada hari Kamis.. dan tempat- tempat favorit di Puncak yang dikunjungi adalah..

1. Restoran Cimory , Puncak, Jawa Barat

I just love the food and the view. They served tasty western food and Indonesian food, and got the best blueberry milkshake in Puncak..! Yoghurt and milk are their specialities, so you should try or buy it in their little shop.  Their cheese stick is not bad either.. they have playground for children, so u don't have to worry if ur lil' one got bored.

2.  Taman Safari Puncak, Cisarua Bogor

in my honest opinion, Taman Safari Cisarua Bogor is gettin' better and better, with reasonable price (Rp 85.000,-) , you could experience so many things, from get in touch with animals right from your own car (you could touch 'em -in your own risk-except at the lion and bear cage- and you could feed them although this is not recommended, many people sell carrots and vegetables beside the road right before Taman Safari), swimming at the water park, see the Curug Jaksa waterfalls , animal attraction, circus, and playground for your little one.  

You could ride an elephant, camel or pony (pony ride only suitable for young children) for only Rp 10.000,- .  On weekdays it is not too crowdy on the inside, but there are still lots of local and arab tourists.

3.  Royal Safari Garden

This is the hotel where I stayed for two nights. What I love about this place; they have their own attractions, animals and games, so actually, you don't have to go anywhere if you wanted to. (they're part of Taman Safari group, so you could have discount for your taman safari entrance tickets, it's Rp 60.000,- from the normal price Rp 85.000,-)

They have they're own bird park, mini golf, camel and pony rides, mini golf, playground and water parks, even organic vegetables park.

I didn't choose the cottage because there was only me, my hubby and my baby, so there were no air conditioner in my room, but it didn't matter because the air was still cool.

But actually the food (for breakfast) is standard, but they provide quite many variation for breakfast.  Your children will love the restaurant because there's a lion -jaguar- in the restaurant (no kidding) and you could take a picture with parrots.

This is the right place for family, anyway, If you're lookin' for some other hotel with cheaper price, Puncak still has lots of motels.

4. What to eat in Puncak ? (wisata kuliner di Puncak)

except for Cimory, actually there are still lots of yummy restaurant at Puncak.  and yes, they're all very affordable! Just in front of the Royal Garden Safari hotel there's a very yummy satay restaurant. (depannya hotel royal safari garden ini satenya enak bener, tapi emang ga semurah di jakarta ya, 30 ribuan gitu, tapi porsi gedee dan enaak). 

And if you're lookin for some local food, still near the royal garden safari hotel, there's a yummy ribs soup (sop iga enak) , chicken porridge, chicken noodle and Padang food. 

And if you're not into local food, still near the hotel (walk) there's Pizza hut and fried chicken restaurant. and also KFC (about 1 km from the hotel).

Some quite popular local restaurants are Raffles and Rindu Alam.. but it's been years since my last visit to both the restaurant.

5. Last but not least, the most important thing I have to do (and I think everybody got to do) in Puncak is..

watch the sunset at the Puncak pass, while eating grilled-corn and drink sekoteng (local drink). Heaven !!!

Ramadhan decoration at (well,actually some mall) in Jakarta, 2011..

tulisan ini dibuat sebagai lanjutan dari yang christmas decoration at the mall 2010, (biar adil gitu looch).. sebenernya dekornya bagus sih tapi yaa, dekorasi lebaran/ ramadhan di mall dari tahun ke tahun perasaan gitu-gitu aja deh, tema

nya arabian night -__-' kan sebenernya bisa tema laen gitu locch..tapi akhirnya nemu dekor ya

ng ga standar di salah satu mall...dan mall itu adalah.. (ada di list terbawah dari list ini yaa..) (sok bikin penasaran)

1. Plaza Senayan

Oke jadi dekorasinya seperti yang bisa dilihat di gambar..yes gitu aja :) #nofurtherkomenlah

2.  Senayan City

Ini dekornya..:) semi-semi timur tengah gitu :)

3.  Grand Indonesia

well dekorasinya..arabian night :) but..the cool-version of arabian night

5. Pondok Indah Mall 1 & 2

well sebenernya dekornya bagus, dan niat, ada mesjidnya, tapi karna ada shark-nya di 'kolam mesjid-nya' (yang sebenernya sudah diprotes sama salah satu lsm lingkungan tapi masih ada aja) jadi kali ini ga jadi dekor yang paling bagus versi eike deh..#laah

please ..anda meng-'inspire' orang untuk pelihara shark gitu lohh..

6.  Pacific Place

yess..sama kayak yang natal, lagi-lagi mall ini jadi yang dekornya 'beda' dari yang lain..ga biasa..udah gitu 'nyambung' dengan tema kemerdekaan yang juga jatuh di bulan ramadhan..love it! Pacific place emang mall yang dekornya niat dan bagus (sumpah nulis ini ga dibayar) :)) oiya dua foto paling atas juga dari Pacific Place, ketupat kontemporer dan definisi ketupat.

 

catatan 14 bulan

Catatan bayi 14 bulan -ku

My story (so far) about my 14 month old baby..

Finally she can walk! 

Di umur 14 bln akhir ini babykei baru bisa lancar berjalan,, mungkin memang aga terlambat berjalan dibanding yg lain,tp eke slalu positip thinking,(eeaa..) dan smoga ibu2 yg lain diluar sana jg,, krn: 

1. Telat jalan itu (my mother believe) menurun. Sy jg dulu baru bsa jalan umur setahun lebih dua bulan. dan sepupu sy yg dulu sudah bisa jalan dari umur 10 bulan, sekarang anaknyapun demikian :)

 

2. (diluar kepercayaan sebaiknya anak merangkak dulu) Some positip-thinking mommies say,Better lama di merangkak, krn dikasi waktu lebih lama 'ngurus anak yg msh kebayi-bayian' :)) time flies so fast after ur baby/tod could walk..dan..ngurus ngejar2nya pasti lebih capek juga :)) 

3. Some people believe, bayi yg tumbuh gigi duluan akan lebih lambat mulai jalannya..well kalo ini pcaya ga pcaya bener si,krn sebelum setahun keisha sdh punya 8 gigi :) 

4. Dan yg bikin lega jg,ada anak laki2 di sekolahnya yg seumur keisha jg baru bsa jalan..and menurut buku yang eike baca juga masih ada kok yang baru lancar berjalan umur 18 bulan hingga dua tahun..so..don't worry :) 

Tp positip thinking ini jg bkn tanpa usaha, me and her dad udah 'merangsang' keisha utk berani jalan dr satu tahun,,tyata dia mmg jenis bayi 'pemalu' kl ga mau dibilang kurang pede krn pernah jatuh :) dan rangsangan yg paling jitu adalah.. Kasih makanan favoritnya di meja/ kucing diujung lorong :)) membiarkan dia dorong2 kursi dan barang-barang apapun yg agak gede juga ternyata membantu..jadi biarin aja ternyata kalo anak dorong2 kursi..:))

and this is it..those hilarious thing my tod did so far..(yang kurasa juga dilakukan oleh anak umur 14 bulan lainnya..:) )...

1.  Joged tiap ada lagu yang dia seneng. --> jogednya bisa shake2 badan atau kepalanya maju mundur kayak orang tahlilan :)) she likes r n b and baby tv song --> anak mama banget..tapi pernah juga goyang pas ada disko dangdut dan lagu minang house remix (lhaa..kalo begini anak siapaaa...*ga ngaku)

2.  Nunjuk semua benda dan hewan yang dia tahu dan tereak kalau kita salah sebut as if she said: 'WTF mama,u are totally wrong!' hehehe..tod likes to yell yahh 

3. Kalo joged mode-nya lagi nyala, belum mau tidur kalo belum dinyanyiin nang ning nung ning nang jess jess jess..(lagu apaan niihh) dan diapun ogel2 berdiri dikasur and drop herself, and laugh histerically..

4. Mengharuskan siapapun yang disampingnya nyanyi tiap liat hewan-hewan berikut di tv/buku/maupun dunia nyata : ayam,bebek,anjing,kelinci,lamb dan hewan-hewan lain yang belum ada lagunya sehingga mamanya harus berpikir keras 'nyiptain lagu baru' (kalo ga mau dibilang lagu super asal baru :)) )

5.  This is annoying most of the time, tapi kadang-kadang lucu juga : jatohin semua barang-barang yang ada di highchairnya saat lagi makan -- diambilin -- untuk dijatuhkan lagi --__--"

6.  Mesti kasih makan bonekanya satu-satu dulu sebelum dia mau mangap makan--alamaakk-- *berjejer boneka barney-kura2-kelinci-teddy bear-and the list goes on..dan makannyapun barus selesai satu setengah jam kemudian -__-'

7.  Heboh naik tangga hanya untuk nyiumin pajangan kucing yang ada di ujung tangga (adorable)

imho,merawat sendiri sampai toddler itu bener-bener bukan hal yang gampang..apalagi kalau lagi sakit atau teething (teething keisha jenis yang rewel hehe)..ampuun de yaa kalo uda mau tumbuh gigi..rasanya emaknya ikutan tumbuh gigi dan hormon deeh..#laah..but we had our moments..those lovely-funny moments that money can't buy..:')
